Conservation & Preservation Areas
Many homes homes fall into conservation areas and possibly have trees protected under a TPO (Tree Preservation Order).
Trees protected as such may not be worked upon in any way, without full permission from the applicable council. This can be a time consuming and confusing process, with permission needing to be sort from the Local as well as Parish Council.
On acceptance of a quote from Acorn to Oak we can complete the relevant application forms for you and liaise on your behalf with the appropriate bodies.
We can provide full written reports to accompany your application and provide aerial reports and photographic evidence as necessary.
Once written permission has been obtained Acorn to Oak are able to carry out the specified works to the industry standard ready for inspection by the council should this be required.
Acorn to Oak take tree conservation very seriously, we are always happier to try remedial work where possible to prevent the loss of a tree but where this is neither possible or preventable. We are able to suggest alternatives for the site and fulfil requirements of replanting trees of local amenity value.
Woodland Management.
Acorn to Oak will undertake woodland managementon on both private and commercial woodlands. we are able to fully assess the state of the woodlands and establish rejuvenation projects and possibly sources grants to help with the cost of the process.
We can clear all dead, diseased and dying materials, (whilst protecting the bio diversity of the woodland) Thus leaving a safe and healthy environment .
Projects include.
Clearing dead wood.
Removing Ivy from the tree trunks (It may be pretty but it kills trees)
